Liquid Magic

Diageo were undergoing a rebrand and required stills and animations that would reflect the brands range and premium nature of their products. We developed a whole series of 3D simulations that looked both liquid like but also sculptural, giving the images their premium look and feel while keeping true to the brands drink making traditions. The images and animations were used across all platforms as the brand relaunched its new look.

A Digital Process

We wanted the final images to look both liquid and glasslike so developed a 3D simulation for each colour that would give us the ability to move around it, like a sculpture and take either stills or animations.

To Represent Alchemy

We then worked on the lighting for each image and animations to create a translucent quality that would represent both the alchemy behind making the different drinks and the different flavour notes each product has.
