Collaborating with designer Hugo Eccles of UNTLD MOTO, we created a film for the iconic XP electric motorcycle. Inspired by the XP’s radical design, Eccles’ meticulous process and a general shift towards sustainable innovation, where electrification is rapidly reshaping expectations, we structured the film around the concept of ‘Genesis’ —

Building the motorcycle from the ground up and assembling each component piece by piece. Precision-crafted studio shots that echo the designer’s own attention to detail are interwoven with high-energy riding sequences that showcase the motorcycle’s beauty and rideability. This approach not only allowed us to celebrate Eccles’ visionary design, but also served as a fitting way to announce “a new era in motorcycling.”

Preparing the XP

In collaboration with visionary designer Hugo Eccles, we began by ingesting the XP model and preparing it for production — refining geometry, texturing surfaces, and ensuring every detail looked just right. This crucial pre-animation phase allows us to validate the product's visual integrity before any motion is applied.

Look development

Once the model was ready, we moved into look development and simulation R&D, all carried out in parallel while evolving the animatic. This ensured alignment across departments and allowed us to test visual treatments and physical simulations that would ultimately shape the final film.
